Phil was facing quarterly power bills of up to $1,000 at his heritage-listed home in Mudgee. With two full-time residents, ducted air-conditioning for heating and cooling, and an electric bore pump servicing a large garden, energy consumption was significant.

He was looking for a high-quality solar solution that would offset daytime usage while also storing energy for night-time consumption. Long warranties and reliable after-sales support were equally important in his decision-making.

The Solution

SPS Solar + Water installed a 7.8kW grid-connected solar system with Enphase microinverters, paired with 4 x 1.2kWh Enphase AC batteries providing 4.8kWh of storage capacity.

The system also includes Enlighten monitoring, giving Phil full visibility over his production and consumption — allowing him to actively manage usage or simply enjoy the benefit of reduced bills.
